BIFF Your Way to Successful Communications with Your Ex-Spouse

BIFF is an acronym that stands for “brief, informative, friendly, and firm.” It is a method to communicate with someone who can be hostile or confrontational, or who tends to have social media meltdowns. I love the acronym as a reminder to be businesslike, succinct, polite and to the point in communications with an ex-spouse. But my acronym, BSPATTP is not nearly as catchy as the other.
